Our clinical analysis centres have all the latest equipment (Abbott). This technology has a long history and is highly prestigious in the medical world. We are always innovating and use high-performance, fast-response diagnostic platforms.
Oscar Llansó and Arturo Martínez founded the Labosar clinical analysis laboratory in 1990 in Malgrat de Mar: the location of our headquarters, where all samples are taken and processed.
Over the years, demand in our geographical area led us to expand our services to the towns of Tordera, Pineda de Mar and Lloret de Mar, and later, to Blanes, Maçanet de la Selva and Vidreres, too. This way, we can provide services to everyone in Alt Maresme and Selva who requires a clinical analysis.
The laboratory is equipped with the most advanced, cutting-edge technology in the fields of haematology, biochemistry, immunology, haemostasis and microbiology, and its specialised human team is made up of biologists, pharmacists, nursing professionals and laboratory technicians. This enables us to provide results on the same day the sample is taken (unless the sample takes longer to be analysed).
The Labosar clinical analysis laboratory also collects specific samples – for genetic or anatomical pathology tests, for example – and passes them on to our partner centres to be processed.
Since 2005, Labosar has been compliant with the ISO 9001: 2008 standard, certified by registration number EC 2071/05. We also participate in the RIQAS international external quality assessment scheme.
